2017 Summer Retreats Are Here!
Thank you for your interest in our Michigan Fly Fishing Wellness Retreats for women diagnosed with or surviving cancer. You are receiving this email because you inquired about our retreat programs.
Our retreats are open to any woman, 18 years or older, who is battling or surviving ANY type of cancer and has not attended our retreat programs in the past. From newly diagnosed to 20+ years survivors, all are welcome.
This is our 20th year of hosting New Participant Retreats in Michigan. Here are the dates of our four retreats:
- Sunday, July 16, at 4:00 pm - Tuesday, July 18, at 1:00 pm
- Sunday, August 6, at 4:00 pm - Tuesday, August 8, at 1:00 pm
- Sunday, August 13, at 4:00 pm - Tuesday, August 15, at 1:00 pm
- Sunday, August 27, at 4:00 pm - Tuesday, August 29, at 1:00 pm
There are 12-14 openings per retreat. No previous fishing experience is required. Wading is relatively easy with clear water at knee-level and a rock and sand riverbed.
Cost of the retreat is a $30 registration fee which covers your lodging, equipment, meals, non-alcoholic beverages, snacks, guide instruction, reference materials and other incidentals. Other costs you are responsible for are a one-day fishing license ($10-$12), and transportation to/from the retreat (we do our best to assist with carpooling to help everyone out).
